Many of us may not be aware of the term “abscess”. Actually, it an infection that is developed around the root of the tooth. This is caused because of the soft tissue of root of teeth. Due to this condition, the root of the teeth gets inflamed. The reason for the cause of the abscessed tooth is due to unattended tooth decay or due to small cracks. Small cracks spread to the teeth, the root of teeth. As soon as bacterial infection starts, the immune system produces WBC to attack bacteria. Symptoms accompanying abscessed tooth are swelling of gums, pain near jaws, neck etc. 

Actually, there is a need for the treatment and is done by the experienced dentists. He/She usually performs the root canal or endodontic surgery. And during the treatment process, the abscess is completely removed to avoid further complications. In order to reduce pain from abscessed teeth, avoid using hot or cold food items, sugary food, acidic food items. Also, it is good to do the rinsing of the affected area with warm water, flossing. Above mentioned are some ways to get rid off from abscessed teeth. As per the saying “Prevention is better than cure.” It is best to care the teeth and avoid from getting affected by the abscessed teeth.
